The
soon to be released HTC Excalibur (aka O2 Xda cosmo and HTC S620) is a
completely new kind of device for HTC since it's sporting a QWERTY thumb
keyboard while it is based on Microsoft's Windows Mobile for Smartphone, not on
Windows Mobile for Pocket PC.
Therefore it's not a PDA at all but a mobile phone and competes with standard
(Windows Mobile) mobile phones as well as with PDAs.
Bellow you will find comparisons to the i-mate SP5m and HTC MTeoR Windows Mobile
Smartphones as well as a comparison to an O2 Xda mini and a Sony Ericsson P800:
So what do you say after you have seen the direct comparison?
Useful photo series -- thanks. God, what an ugly phone. Why would anyone buy this aesthetic horror when the Samsung SGH-i600 is almost out?

agreed with paul, this is definitely one of the ugliest phone 2006, and it's a smartphone, not pocket pc phone.... i'd rather get a treo!

Nitpick: That is a P900 or 910, not a P800. The P800 was white-blue.
I kinda like the Excalibur look myself, but I'm waiting for the Ubiquio 501

great photos! I was hoping for a comparison shot with a pack of cigarettes though hehehe [that's what I usually compare gadgets with] anyway it's suprisingly thin, I don't expect the WM Treo GSM version [I think it's the 750 the one without the antenna and miniSD instead of SD] to come out before this though as it seems to me that palm is kinda slow outside the US nowadays.
